Lantronix G520 series next-generation IoT cellular gateways are designed for Industry 4.0, security and transport applications

IRVINE, Calif., May 24, 2022 — Lantronix Inc. (NASDAQ: LTRX), a global provider of secure turnkey solutions for the Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) and the Intelligent IT market, today announced that its G520 series of next-generation IoT cellular gateways has been honored with a 2022 IoT Evolution Industrial IoT Product of the Year Award from IoT Evolution World.

IoT Evolution World honored Lantronix’s G520 series IoT cellular gateways for meeting the needs of users in Industry 4.0, security and transport applications by providing flexibility to the edge via advanced technologies that provide the ability to:

• Measure and report how equipment and machines are performing
• Aggregate real-time performance data to improve operations performance
• Connect devices from multiple suppliers, monitor production and control equipment
• Predict problems and maintenance requirements before they occur

According to Berg Insights, more than 3.7 million IoT gateways were sold globally during 2020 at a total market value of approximately $1.01 billion. Its analysts forecast that shipments of cellular IoT gateways will grow at a CAGR of 14.4 percent in the next five years to reach 7.2 million units in 2025.
