NDAA Statement
All products of Lantronix Inc. are compliant with Section 889(a)(1) of the John S. McCain National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for Fiscal Year 2019. NDAA Statement for Fiscal Year 2019
RoHS Statement
Lantronix products adhere to environmental regulations established by the current European Union (EU) RoHS directive (2011/65/EU). This directive establishes acceptable limits of certain hazardous materials in electrical and electronic equipment.
The RoHS directive prohibits heavy metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium and hexavalent chromium, and flame retardants such as polybrominated biphenyls (PBB) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) in electrical and electronic equipment, except where exempted.
WEEE Statement
Lantronix is committed to meeting all requirements of the WEEE directive (2012/19/EU). This directive: (1) requires manufacturers of electrical and electronic equipment who sell into EU countries to label the equipment for appropriate disposal, and (2) encourages consumers of such equipment to appropriately recycle the equipment at the end of their lifespan.
REACH Statement
The EU has enacted a chemical registration requirement known as REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals). A goal of REACH is to identify certain substances that are manufactured or imported into the EU.
The scope of REACH covers products such as those manufactured by Lantronix. REACH Articles 57 and 59 identify candidates on the SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern)list. Importing products into the EU containing more than 0.1% by weight of an SVHC may need to comply with special reporting requirements.
To the best of our knowledge, Lantronix’s products do not contain any substances on the SVHC candidate list. Be advised that Lantronix does not physically analyze its products for these substances.
