Hardened Grade
Lantronix’s Hardened POE switch family provides Layer 2 or Layer 3 networking for Ethernet, Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet networks. Using a Lantronix outdoor PoE switches or an industrial ethernet switch, such as in an electrically noisy environments like factory floors, allows the use of fiber optic cables for backbone connections, which is important since fiber is immune to electrical interference. Switches with SFP ports provide the ultimate flexibility by supporting a wide range of fiber cables and connectors. Network switch management administrators can choose from managed or unmanaged network switches depending on the size and mission-critical nature of the network.
